Nick Tolliver is a committed documentarian. Feeling the need to turn his directorial lens on social causes, Nick decides to make a documentary about the homeless crisis in Orange County, CA. Rather than document these people from behind the scenes, Nick instead turns the camera on himself spending 24 hours on the street "being homeless." His film is compromised when his partner doesn't show up to help him shoot it. Alone with his camera, Nick forges ahead trying to find his footing on the street. He attempts to panhandle, engage the homeless, and ultimately does his best to understand their situation. While attempting to see if a homeless man needs his assistance, the man throws a white powder in Nick's face. Soon after this Nick becomes cursed. He starts vomiting up packing peanuts, paper clips, and ripping out random pieces of trash from his skin. It soon becomes apparent that this documentary must be stopped but can Nick Tolliver survive long enough to make that happen?
