Hello everyone! I’m Ron Bonk, the proud owner of SRS Cinema, an indie production and distribution company now in its 33rd year of championing underground horror. I’m beyond excited to announce my latest collaboration with indie horror legend Mark Polonia (“Splatter Farm,” “Feeders”) and his incredible team of Jeff Kirkendall and Tim Hatch. Together, we’re bringing you a brand-new horror experience: Dummy!

Here’s the story: Arcibald the Amazing, a ventriloquist nearing the end of his career, gives one final performance with his dummy, Chucklehead. After the show, he tragically takes his own life in his hotel room—but his negative energy inhabits Chucklehead, transforming the dummy into a murderous force of terror. From a class reunion to hotel staff to unsuspecting bystanders, Chucklehead embarks on a blood-soaked rampage, vowing to make it a night to remember!
Mark, Tim, and Jeff are legends in the world of underground horror, with Mark starting his career alongside his late brother John Polonia, creating shot-on-video classics that fans still adore today. Their films are packed with gore, scares, and plenty of mayhem. This team knows how to make magic happen on even the smallest budgets, and with the four of us teaming up, you can expect Dummy to deliver everything you love about indie horror: insane moments, dark humor, and plenty of blood.
We’ve set a modest funding goal of $3,000 to kick things off. While this isn’t the total budget, starting low helps us secure early momentum and get trending. Your contributions will go toward hiring talent, creating killer special effects, and elevating the production value of this already exciting project.
